Skater Park Energy: A Photoshoot with Jarne
Last week, I had the pleasure of spending an hour with three-year-old Jarne and his dad at a local skate park — and wow, this little guy brought all the energy!
Armed with his trusty balance bike, Jarne zoomed across the park like he owned the place. Up and down ramps, jumping off edges, pulling mini wheelies — he was absolutely in his element. I barely had time to lift my camera before he was off again, laughing and racing across the concrete like a pro.
What made the shoot so much fun was how natural Jarne was in front of the lens. No posing needed — just real, candid moments as he did what he loves best. His dad hung back and let him explore, and it was beautiful to watch that mix of confidence and curiosity unfold.
We got a great variety of shots — some fast-paced action, some quiet pauses, and even a few cheeky grins mid-ramp. One of those shoots that didn’t feel like work.

Skaterpark-Power – Ein Fotoshooting mit Jarne
Letzte Woche durfte ich eine Stunde mit dem dreijährigen Jarne und seinem Papa im Skaterpark verbringen – und was soll ich sagen, der Kleine hatte richtig Dampf drauf!
Mit seinem Laufrad sauste Jarne über den Platz, als wäre es sein eigener. Hoch und runter über die Rampen, kleine Sprünge, ein paar Wheelies – er war total in seinem Element. Ich musste mich echt beeilen, um mit der Kamera hinterherzukommen!
Das Schönste an dem Shooting war, wie natürlich Jarne vor der Kamera war. Kein Posieren, keine Anweisungen – nur echte, ehrliche Momente beim Spielen und Entdecken. Sein Papa ließ ihm den Freiraum, und es war toll zu sehen, wie viel Selbstvertrauen und Neugier in dem kleinen Kerl steckt.
Wir haben eine schöne Mischung an Bildern eingefangen – Action pur, ruhige Momente und natürlich auch ein paar freche Grinser mitten auf der Rampe. So ein Shooting fühlt sich definitiv nicht wie Arbeit an.
Ein riesiges Dankeschön an Jarne und seinen Papa für die entspannte Zeit und dafür, dass ich mit der Kamera dabei sein durfte.
